As you can imagine, Alex & I are pretty busy lately with the whole “house buying” process underway. It’s a big step, and we are pretty excited!! The bad thing is, we are in this apartment for at least 2 more weeks and it uses oil for fuel. We are getting really low on oil and that’s not cool b/c you have to buy at least half a tank at a time (150 gallons), which is about 400.00. Which wouldn’t be a big deal if we were going to be here and using it all, but we’re not. We wouldn’t even get through 200.00 worth. It’s frustrating because it wouldn’t be that bad if it wasn’t that cold out (like it was about a week ago)…but of course, this winter storm had to bombard us at just the wrong time. We aren’t sure what we’re gonna do. You can fill up a gas can full of oil in town, but that only lasts about a day and it’s kind of tedious, filling up that can over and over. Bleh
I have some good news to share though: I’m doing awesome in school! I’m so proud of myself. 
I got an A in my first class, and I am currently in my Math class. So far we have only taken one exam and had lots of homework, but I’ve done awesome on the homework and I got a 100% on my exam. If you know me even the slightest bit, you should be like “woah!” I am not a math person. I am an English & Social Sciences type of person. I don’t know if it’s because I’m older and trying harder, or what, but I love math right now. It’s so much fun getting assigned problems to solve and finding out when you get them all right! I am hoping that I get scheduled into my next required math class right after this one, so I can stay in the groove.
Earlier today, I went to get a pair of socks out of my closet and my cat was laying in the drawer. It was pretty cute and very surprising…scared me to death! lol
